More model information

Compressed 3D-model of the research tunnels of NHM Vienna at the late-bronze-age site Christian-von-Tusch-Werk, Alter Grubenoffen on Empress-Christina-adit of the Hallstatt salt mine. On this site an over 3000 year old salt mining chamber is explored. The research of the NHM Vienna is based on a cooperation with Salzwelten GmbH and Salinen Austria AG.

The model was generated by using photogrammetry, the documentation was conducted from 2014-2019. Additionally the results of exploration wells as well as a reconstruction of the whole mined cavity is displayed. The data processing took place in course of the Interreg-project VirtualArch.
