Bronze Cowrie Container with Battle Scene Decoration is made by welding two bronze drums (stacked top and bottom) with a base and lid; when unearthed, it was filled with cowrie shells. Bronze Cowrie Container with Battle Scene Decoration has a round-carved battle scene on its lid, with 18 figures and 4 horses: one group is Han people (wearing helmets/armor, riding horses, holding shields or bows); the other group is Kunming people (knocked off horses, tied up, or beheaded). Its body has decorations: six groups of feathered figures rowing boats, ox-shaped dancing figures, and trapezoidal patterns (triangular teeth + concentric circles).
