A simple shield modelled and textured for use in game engines. Although I’ve made it available for free download, be aware that I don’t consider this production quality, see below.
(Something I made to keep in practice. Substance painter and the high-to-low baking workflow has been really fun to learn, with plenty left to improve on… Like the texturing/baking error in the main ‘dent’, which I left for time, or the inside of the shield, which isn’t anything to write home about.
It was also a good piece to experiment with composition(?), like where and how to add character & detail to a pretty simple model, and where to leave empty space so it’s not overdone.
