Thoracic vertebra from a dolphin skeleton salvaged while conducting archeological fieldwork in Belize. Using comparitive skull anatomy I have determined that is is a common bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus). Scanned by Finley May in Dr. Heather McKillop’s Spring 2026 3D Digital Imaging class (ANTH 4997) at Louisiana State University.
