More model informationThis is a sample of the Lockport Dolomite from Rochester, New York. It is a tufa (closely related to, or the same thing as, travertine) whch means it is a very porours carbonate rock formed by carbonate precipitation from water. The sample is about 8 cm in longest dimension.
