The scanning process was quick yet thorough. After a fast 5-minute prep involving spraying the object and placing three targets on each side, the actual scanning process took just 5 minutes. One vertical scan was made to ensure perfect alignment, followed by 10 minutes of effortless processing in Artec Studio. The “Remove Base” feature efficiently eliminated the platform, leaving a clean 3D model.

Rotate the model to explore the sharp, evenly spaced teeth around the circumference, a circular bore, and the distinctive, wide outer flange that supports the gear teeth. You’ll also find several clearly visible holes with well-defined edges, an engraved logo and model numbers.
