A hard-paste porcelain rococo style chamberstick of a putto in the form of a young boy wearing a floral headpiece and a draped with a blue and floral toga style garment. The putto is seated on a tree stump with primrose style flowers and blue and gilt ‘waves’ at his feet. On top of the stump is the diagonally striped candle sconce, and from the back is the handle with a flat blue flower as the thumbpiece.
