This room was probably used for storing wine, beer and groceries and was located in a practical connection to both the kitchen and the castle entrance for loading goods. Many of the food was probably hung in the rings on the ceiling to keep the rats away, but sacks, barrels, baskets and chests were probably stacked along the walls as well.
