Central Sounding 3 (2018)

Central Sounding 3 is a trench located in the southeastern corner of the excavation area of Cosa’s bath complex. It was excavatd in 2018 and is linked to the other Central Sounding trenches from 2015 and 2018. The northern (gray pavement in model) part of the trench is part of the frigidarium of the bath, while the southern part of this trench appears to have been a dump and area of reuse, likely during the post-abandonment period.
