Chunky Puff Gun

I wanted to practice more stand alone props so I took a look at one of my favorite shows from childhood, Ed, Edd, n Eddy. This is a gun from the special “The Eds are Coming”, it has no official name but is called “Chunky Puff Gun” on the wiki page.

I always loved the designs of the stuff the Eds made. Made me wish I could hang out in a junkyard! All of the prop design from the show looks like something that could in theory be something that a kid could make. I haven’t seen many other things like it so I wanted to take a closer look at one of the designs.

I am having a hard time trying to figure out what this style of prop would be called. The only other similar designs I have seen are from Kid’s Next Door, another show from the same channel and timeframe. Looking at DIY costumes/toys comes up with with items with the same concept but completley different vibes. Junk props is the best I could come up with but that still leads to nothing. If anyone has more examples of similar designs let me know.
