The Church of the Holy Mother of God is the main attraction of the village of Medenichi. It is located near the central road in the direction of Lviv, next to the new brick Orthodox church. It was mentioned for the first time in archival documents as early as 1589, but most sources consider the year of its construction to be 1644 (it is this year that is carved on the door leaf on the south side of the church). The old name is the church of St. Paraskeva. Together with the bell tower, the church is included in the State Register of the National Cultural Property of Ukraine.
