More model informationThe 135 ft schooner City of Sheboygan was built in 1871 in Sheboygan, WI for the lumber trade and was eventually sold and re-registered as a Canadian schooner. It sank in a violent storm in 1915 off Amherst Island near Kingston, ON while carrying a cargo of Feldspar. It now rests in 100 ft of water and is buoyed and a popular dive site. The model was created from a mix of 1,892 30-megapixel and 8-megapixel images captured by a Kayla and Durrell Martin and Ken Merryman in a team photogrammetry effort.
