This is a hammer I’ve been working on for the past few days. Mostly just a fun project to practice my hardsurface and prop pipeline.
This Hammer was originally made to have subdivisions applied at render time, but I also did a bake with the resulting subdivisions for a more game ready model.
In the preview I’ve included the game ready model as well as the Subd model. The subd model has 2 divisons applied since sketchfab doesn’t have this capability, but it would more or less look like the game ready model before hand. It is the reason why the poly count is listed so high. I’ve included all the different versions of this in a maya file.
There will be 1 material for the game ready hammer and 1 material for the subd hammer. The textures are 4k and downres fairly well. I will say the textures look a little bit nice in software other than sketchfab :D. I also threw in some quick blood texture for fun.
