Cocina Rock

An interesting piece of cocina rock that was on the beach at Washington Oaks state Park in Palm Coast, Florida. There is an outcrop of the rock for almost 2 miles in this location and it is quite interesting. It runs along the beach and waves crash into the rock during high tide. Cocina is what the forts, gates, and other buildings in Saint Augustine were built out of by the Spanish. Cocina is limestone rock made of lots of shells.
