This is a low resolution model of the outcrop A.2 located at the ‘Colli Alti e Bassi’ close to ‘Valle dell Fonti’, in the plain of Castelluccio di Norcia (Central Italy). The original model has high resolution (<1cm) and was developed using ca. 600 images acquired by a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone with a 48Mpixel camera. The outcrop is placed at the footwall of a secondary normal fault of the Mt. Vettore Fault System, in correspondence with some remarkable coseismic rupture related to the 2016-2017 Central Italy seismic sequence . Studying the fracture pattern and intensity is of primary importance to understand the geological history of the area and, therefore, better understand the activity of the coseismic fault (Panara et al., 2022).
