More model informationFounded in 1905, The Columbia is the oldest and largest Spanish restauant in the United States. The cafe was at first frequented by cigarmakers in Ybor City but would become a spot that served as host to celebrities and world figues of import. The restaurant has a reputation for entertainment as well as the food, with great Latin performers that historically frequented the spot, and Spanish flamenco dancers. Besides the original restaurant in the Ybor City Historic District of Tampa, Florida, the Columbia has four other locations in Sarasota, St. Augustine, Clearwater, and Orlando, and two cafes located at the Tampa Bay History Center and at the Tampa International Airport.
