Vertices: 4MMore model information
The Comet which sank in 1861 sits upright with two intact walking beam steam engines, boilers, and paddle wheels. Cabins and decks have collapsed but it is one of three of the Great Lakes best examples of a sidewheel steamer. The 2012 imagery for this model was not shot for a 3D model but covered the wreck fairly completely. Unfortunately some of the video was shot a little too far from the wreck to get good surface texture which causes a water column veil over the details.
