More model information

This copper ore mine, “Mine T,” was mined during Israel’s Chalcolithic period. Mesh and texture created by Anthony Tamberino in Agisoft Photoscan from a dense 3D point cloud of 177,610,653 points, created from photogrametry from 1,473 overlapping 24mp images taken by Anthony Tamberino (UCSD) on Sept. 13th, 2017, with support from Dominique Meyer (UCSD). The documentation of this archaeological site was done as part of the University of California, San Diego – Tel Aviv University collaborative Israel 3D Land and Sea Project 2017, headed by T. E. Levy and E. Ben-Yosef (see more here: http://archaeology.tau.ac.il/ben-yosef/CTV/). The Israel 3D Land and Sea Project 2017 was generously funded by Marian Scheuer Sofaer and Abraham Sofaer of Palo Alto, CA.
