More model informationThe Cornelia B. Windiate was a 140 foot long three masted wooden schooner that disappeared in 1875 with its crew of 9. It was thought to have sank in Lake Michigan but it was found over a century later in Lake Huron. It’s very intact with its stern cabin and wheel, rigging, artifacts, anchors, deadeyes and the ominous yawl boat as a reminder that the crew didn’t make it.
This is my deepest model to date at 185 feet deep in 38f degree water. It took 37 minutes of bottom time and 55 minutes of deco. I shot 1844 images to produce this model. - Becky Kagan Schott / Liquid Productions underwater shipwreck photogrammetry
