The Côtes des Dunes was launched in 2005 as the Seafrance Rodin, originally serving Seafrance & MyFerryLink Dover to Calais route. She has since been refurbished and converted to increase the confort for the passengers she carries and to improve onboard facilities. The Côtes des Dunes, along with her sister ship the Côtes des Flandres, joined the DFDS fleet of cross channel passenger ferries in 2016.
