The curved collar of the jar is decorated with three black lines and frieze of red triangles, the upper body with two rows of concentric circles between vertical double ribbed strap handles, and the body with black and red horizontal lines and bands. The jar has a height of 230mm.
The jar is on display as part of the ‘Cypriot Pottery of the Bronze and Iron Ages’ exhibition of the Hellenic Museum of Melbourne, and is on loan from the Peter Mitrakas and Mary Ann Savas collection.
