More model informationHere is a photogrammetric reconstruction of an incredible treasure of our oceans deep sea. Approximately 30 miles off the coast of Carmel, California and nearly 1200m deep lies this large rock covered with various sponge species and Bubble Gum coral. This is the second such survey of this rock, the first being conducted in 2017, shows that very fortunately the incredible coral and sponge colonies that inhabit this 25m long rock appear to be doing very well. For reference, the Camera tripod that is just sitting off one of the sides of the rock is approximatey 3m tall.
