Voici un spécimen de l’ammonite Dactylioceras du Jurassique inférieur d’Europe, avec des cristaux de calcite forman une géode à l’intérieur de la coquille.

Here is a specimen of the ammonite Dactylioceras, from the Lower Jurassic of Europe, where calcite crystals form a geode inside the shell.
This specimen, ULgPA35413, is housed in the palaeontology collections of the University of Liège http://eddylab.uliege.be. The specimen was digitized with structured white light (accuracy of 0.15mm) by Nicolas Vaczi.
