This moose was originally sculpted out of clay by Anna Carter in reference to a dead moose given to Thomas Jefferson and illustrated by Maggie Colangelo that is on Page 7 of the Founding Monsters comic book by Maggie Colangelo and Dr. Bernard K. Means. It was 3-D scanned and then 3-D printed. Maddie Martin painted the 3-D printed bust. The painted plastic replica was then 3-D scanned with an Einstar 3-D scanner.
