Dedication of the church of Civaux

This inscription is the dedication of the current church. It begins with these words: “Haec est domus domini firmiter edificata”. Which means: “Behold the House of the Lord firmly built.” The word “igne” (fire), readable in the next line, indicates that the church suffered a fire; which would explain the new construction with the stone vaulting of the nave around 1100.
