A Game ready rigged and textured car for a school project made during my 2nd Bachelore Year at ISART Digital Paris.
This car has rigged suspensions as well as multiple parts that can be swapped. This post showcases the default configuration of the car. The configuration can be changed in game in the menus.
Due to time restrictions and other factors, only two body parts has been made for the project.
The game is set in a post apocalyptic earth in quebec inspired from the film ‘The day after tomorrow’. The first intentions for the game was to collect scraps by racing against other to upgrade our car - unfortunalty, this concept has not been implemented in the prototype.
However, the game features dynamic snow & cell shading implemented via custom made shaders. A fully operational mainmenu with camera animations as weel as the capacity of saving encrypted user data locally.
