Along with my first 3D model (Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber) I’ve made a second one, about 4 years ago as well. I had to choose something balanced in its difficulty for the things I was learning and skills I had back then. I chose these objects due to the selection of something that had a good level of inspirational value for me, and also some meaning behind itself that I felt related to for some reason. And this one was some sort of a tribute to a character I really respect in the Star Wars saga: Sir Count Dooku. The reason I like him is because he represented a villain who left clues of himself not being evil at all, but pretending to bring balance knowing some very dark truths before anyone else; the senator not being a saint at all.
It has a full process of development, and that was the challenge as well. Doing a proper 3D modeling (considering scales and techniques) in 3ds Max, unwrapping, texturing in Substance Painter, and it is ready for usage in games as it has a high to low poly process applied.
