James Anderson Kelman (d.1912) a solicitor, was best known for ‘Kelman’s Interest Tables’ which listed the Scottish bank rates of interest from 1800. He had worked for the City of Glasgow Bank in Edinburgh but later moved to London where he lived in Highbury. He purchased the site of the mausoleum for £441 in 1905 and the first interment was that of his second wife Marie in July 1907, followed soon after by his son in September of that year. ~ https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/199174033/james-anderson-kelman
