My team participated in a game jam event in Montreal, where the theme was “Urban Legends”. We decided to go with a “doppelganger” idea because of its simplicity, and developed the game using Unreal Engine. I contributed some of my 3D skills and designed the main lumberjack 3D character and its texture variations. I’m quite happy that we were able to port a working rig and animations over the character model during the span of time during that weekend. Judges from Ubisoft liked our game, and other game developers who came to try the game out were entertained. It only takes several minutes to complete the game. The low-poly 3D trees, bushes, mountains and rocks in this scene were found from free3d.com. Background music “Dark Forest” from Youtube Audio Library. The game’s environment assets were from the Unreal Engine Marketplace.
