More model informationThe Dowel Locked Joint has been developed to hold a board in place without the use of tools. To secure it safely, the lock section of the dowel is designed to be turned by 90°. This rotational action can only be done intentionally. Two Versions are available. One where the dowel is first fed through a hole in the board and then laterally moved and locked (Inside-Out). The other one directly fed into the joint and locked (Outside-In). All components can be produced with standard carpentry tools or CNC production lines.
