The sword of a Dragon Rider is a special forged sword, all created by the elf Rhunön, to serve as a main weapon for a Horseman. These swords are forged with a special steel that the elf nickname Shining Steel for its peculiar iridescent shine.

They have unique characteristics due to this steel, such as its extreme flexibility and malleability, as well as the fact that they cannot be affected by magic. They can also cut through almost any surface due to their extreme sharpness, and they never chip despite blows against other swords during combat.
