Dragster 3D Model
I’ve decided to get more hands-on with 3D modeling this year by setting out to learn a new lesson and publish every week. I started small with Grant Abbitt’s Blender Basic tutorial here: https://youtu.be/I-L57XSX70w
I did run into some trouble, though.
Grant suggested using Cycles Render which doesn’t play well with Blender. My materials didn’t come through, so I switched to Blender Render and basically re-colored everything.
Learning the keys for each function has been trying but I started to grasp it as the days went on and I perfected this model.
Another challenge has been using the rotate function. Grant offered some keys to make it easier but I think I was creating my model 90 degrees off from his, and it complicated things.
