I was going for a severely hardened, almost exhausted aesthetic. The unnaturally pale skin tone contrasts heavily with the dark, heavy fur-lined jacket and pitch-black hair, giving him a brooding, gothic undertone that fits the “Requiem” theme. I put a lot of focus into his intense, stoic expression and the subtle rendering of his facial structure to really sell that veteran survivor fatigue.
