This Pictish cross slab stands 2 metres tall and is situated in a glass box within the ruin of Eassie Old Church. This was probably carved in the 8th-9th century. The stone was discovered in the late 18th century in the bed of a nearby stream, by the 1830s it had been re-erected in the church. Since at least the late 1960s the stone has been protected from the weather in first a purpose built room and latterly a glass box.
Each side of the stone was modelled separately (Metashape) then aligned/scaled in MeshLab, I was unable to photograph the sides and top of the stone without full access inside the very dirty glass box.
