More model informationNine cup marks placed in a natural outcrop of sandstone within the Battle Hill range at East Loups, Cotherstone Moor, County Durham, UK. A stone wall from the former farm was erected on top of the rock surface and splits the cup marks into two panels while obsuring the entire scene. This is a recording of the north facing panel made June 2018 where one large cup mark remains distinct while the others are faint but can be seen in matcap view.
This panel is a Scheduled Monument and registered in England’s Rock Art database, entry ERA-1700.
