More model informationHead and crown from a stone statuette of an ancient Egyptian queen or goddess. She wears a crown of uraei (rearing cobras) aranged in a circle, topped by a sun disk, horns and ostrich feathers. This form of crown was often used in depictions of New Kingdom queens, but continued in use through to the Ptolemaic Period which, along with the worn facial features, makes this fragment difficult to date.
Accession number: E.9321
