Boxabl, a high-growth startup company that builds foldable and easily transportable homes, last week unveiled a two-story version of its chic and affordable, factory-built product at the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas.
Elon Musk helped bring massive attention to Boxabl’s unique homebuilding innovations by confirming in an interview that he owned one of the company’s basic 375-square-foot Casita models, which is parked on the campus of SpaceX, the billionaire’s Texas-based rocket company.
Boxabl’s two-story home that was featured at IBS in Las Vegas contains two bedrooms, a master suite, two and a half baths, an elegant spiral staircase, and an outdoor patio on the second floor. The model home attracted online influencers Ellie in Space and Kerry Tarnow, as well as Fox 5 Las Vegas, who all gave highly favorable reviews of its design and functionality.
