Fragments of medieval high crosses mounted in a plinth in a grass field are all the surviving visible remains of an early monastery. In 1837 construction of the nearby road cut through and destroyed part of the graveyard. The site is associated with St Brocaidh of Imleach, a punitive nephew of St Patrick. Little else is known about the site.
