More model informationEngravings of several narrow and rather shallow engraved lines from Mother Grundy (Creswell Crags). These “banana-shaped” motifs were also observed in the 2003 study. Unfortuntaly, there are no clear parallels between these depictions and other late Upper Palaeolithic art. The shallow and narrow nature of the engravings indicates that they are most likely not Palaeolithic in age.
This photogrammetry model was produced by researchers from the Department of Archaeology, Durham University as part of a project to re-evaluate the Palaeolithic art at Creswell Crags using new digital techniques.
