Eryops

Very robust amphibian from the Permian period. It grew mostly roughly 2 meters, some scientists however say it could rarely reach even 3 meters or so.

From the sharp teeth is obvious that Eryops was a predator hunting and eating other animals. It may used some sort of sticky tongue which lots of amphibians nowdays have to catch not only bugs but sometimes even verberates.
