Sometimes when you turn up to play a show, you look around and think - “wow, we made it! We’re finally rising through the ranks”…that’s wonderful. Brilliant! oh but, just don’t look at the missing snare and stand…oh, uhm, yeah, it’s a bit tight on stage because someone has to use an electronic kit; look, it’s fine, I’m sure people will be more interested in you playing than the bar directly across from the stage…ahem. Either way, live music is something that should never go away. Nothing compares to the buzz of seeing a band play their hearts out, doing what they love. Music is best experienced in person, surrounded by those who love the exact same thing you do. These are your people. Go, see bands, scream your lungs out, move yourself, bump yourself. Without music, what are we?
