Fantasy Armor ( WIP) To create the textures and PBR materials for this asset the following maps were used. (Normal map from mesh, World space normal, Ambient occlusion, Curvature, Position, and Thickness) with added parameters and assigned to the following assets (Metal Plates, Trim, Tunic, Leather) to create the completed asset Metal (Chest, Helm, Greaves )= bumped steel material 4k map with added parameters Dirt, Scratches, Rust, Bumped/Hammered Trim (Helm,Chest,Legs) = brass material 2k map with added parameters Dirt, Scratches, and Oxidation added. ChainMail (Shirt/Tunic) = Chainmail substance material Leather ( Legs, arms, misl) = Leather substance material with generators added to create , scratches , stains , wear. I was notified that so many 4k maps were creating issues, so I have dropped some back to 2k. I can see an obvious loss of detail dropping from 4k maps to 2k maps for some of the materials. But over all I am happy with the asset.
