More model informationThis piece of marble shows two gladiators and a referee. The referee is holding a staff to separate the fighters at various times during the competition. It is been suggested that the referee in this relief could also be the owner and trainer of at least one of the gladiators. This piece was found in the Colosseum in Rome And comes from the first century BC.
