More model informationDuring the Winter War of 1939–1940, the Finnish sharpshooters brought terror to the Red Army soldiers. With their masterful use of the native terrain knowledge, they were highly effective in eliminating the Soviet soldiers. A legend among them is Simo Häyhä who was given the nickname “White Death” – he killed some 500 enemy soldiers in 100 days.
