Small boulder found close to Fallowlees Burn to the west of Fontburn Reservoir, 5 miles south of Rothbury, Northumberland.
NADRAP record this stone as being in a possible cairn. It’s referenced ‘Fontburn a(vii)’ on the Beckensall Archive (BA) and described as ‘A single cup on the top and a possible cup on the side.’
NADRAP provided a fuller description of the stone and cups. Although, two drawings made during different elements of recording offers two different interpretations.
