More model informationFirst built by the Dutch West India Company as a trading lodge in the 1690s, Fort Patience was expanded and fortified in 1721. Today it is administered by the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board and is open to the public upon request. This model was captured in June 2017 as part of the University of Rochester/University of Ghana joint digital archaeology field school.
