More model informationRochester Cathedral memorial located in the sixth-west bay of the north nave aisle. Long inscription in incised Roman and italic letters painted grey. A sentence added in memory of his widow, who died 21st January 1786 (Physick 1995, no. 16). Large white marble mural monument in the form of looped drapery with tassels, from the top of which hangs a white marble heart-shaped inscription tablet from a ribbon and ring. At the base is a shield of arms and a torse but the crest is missing. Mrs Barrell’s inscription painted black. The heraldry of this monument is described by (Messenger (1927).
