FS0152 This rock art panel is located above Rooms 6 and 7 in the main area of the Honanki West Alcove.
The large white pictographs are situated approximately 20 feet above the room floor levels.
The majority of pictographs in this area are attributed to the Sinagua paleo-Indian culture. There are additional pictographs and petroglyhs in this area attributed to the Archaic, Yavapai and Western Apache cultures.
The Sinagua pictographs are believed to have been created approximately 1200-1300 AD.
Honanki is located in the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest to the northwest of Sedona, Arizona.
