This is the south outer external wall of the Mormon Lake Guard Station Cabin situated south of Flagstaff Arizona. It was constructed starting in 1908 and was the first ranger station in the Coconino Forest. This version shows part of the slope to the west from which rain water and snow melt flow to the foundation of the cabin and ultimately rotted out part of the structure. The porch railing in the SE corner is complete but poorly represented in this model.
This visual model was created October 2018 to assist Forest Service Personnel in the maintanence, restoration and management of this historic site.
