This model is part of an ongoing project to document “at risk” features at Heritage Sites in the Coconino Forest due to natural or vandalism related issues.
This is the north cabin of a group of 3 remaining historic cabins in Pendley Ranch site at Slide Rock State Park north of Sedona, Arizona. Only the east, south amd west walls are depicted in this model. The cabins all date back to the early 20th century. This exterior of this structure is well preserved despite large numbers of visitors to Slide Rock. Additional structures on the property date back to the late 1800s. The site is managed, maintained and protected by the Arizona State Parks system.
